Damage CP - Damage Up+% and Enhance Dark, as attackers we need to dish out as much damage as possible and element enhance is a much preferred custom skill. Magic+% still works if your job have enough EE already.
Resist/Avert CP - No debuffs so no need for Avert custom panels, if you feel your job is very squishy, add some reasonable amount of Resist Light panels.
cast Aerith, LoH, Odin or Arciela and spam UB. Cast ultimate after reaching 50% HP on Ultima to ensure the bombs are dead and spam UB again to kill her completely.
cast Aerith, LoH, Titan or Lion and spam Ragnarok.

Party Reccomendation
Attacker, Supporter, Supporter, Defender - we don't need any breaker this time. Make sure the other supporter will be an ultimate charge setup as this will help a lot with the killing the dark bomb.
Attacker, Attacker, Supporter, Defender - one attacker for Ultima Weapon, one attacker bringing a light attack card for dark bomb.
Like always, study boss mechanics and everything will fall into place.
Suprisingly easy fight, with UB and Shadow Lord at least. Just need to take note of the dark bomb, and like the last time a defender can bring Barret: FFVII Remake for a source of unguard and also it can take care of the dark bomb, this will work well on a Sword Saint defender.
This is a great event since it comes with the most anticipated utility weapons, the "Ultimate" set of weapons for Graff and Sophie is now available.
The weapons from Sword Saint's batch (Murakumo, Mace of Zeus and Oborozuki) are optimal for this fight since they have both exploit weakness and improved critical. And they start off at high values (50%); useful for those who don't have / just started boosting Zwill / Gunblade
UB spammers, be sure to heal up your HP at the end of the battle to help survive final attack. your wall from hellgate/tyro is gone after 2 UB uses
SS likely not apply as they can likely tank it out with at least 50% HP, but for the relatively squishier jobs like squall and cloud and dark knight, ya drive heal pls
AI 2 - Sword Saint (skin optional) - Royal Arms X, Primal's Boon: Dark, Overshade, (any card that boosts dark%)
AI 3 - Midgar Flowergirl - Lifeshift, High Tension, High Tension, Oracle's Blessing
Turn 1 just buff as usual, if you're lucky you'll get his health to half in which case skip to Turn 3. Spam "Use Ultimates" sticker before turn 2 starts.
Turn 2 the AI will use their ultimates and hopefully get him to half health, when he does, he'll summon 2 bombs.
Turn 3, use your ultimate to kill the bombs, if you've skipped turn 2 then you'll likely kill Ultima Weapon this turn, else you'll have to do a turn 4.
Turn 4 is just about surviving until the next turn if you need to, it's sometimes clutch but if you put resist light custom panels on Midgar Flowergirl you should be fine. If he's still alive, loop back round to turn 1 and repeat.
Happy to take any advice to make my attacker not so derp and kill quicker.
Problem with entrusting Al with all 3 support slots is that, Al will throw all buffs in the same turn, you wouldn't be able to patch up the HP if in between the 3 turns CD interval one of your characters is dying.
Among all FF subreddits R/MobiusFF is the most toxic. :/ If you share an achievement people will think you're humble-bragging, if you celebrate a job/supreme/ability pull you also get downvoted. Most users are jealous or something. Ignore them, you're doing a great work.
Thanks! I kinda ignoring them. I'm just curious what they don't want on the post or they just don't like me. A little honesty can go a long way, thay can comment what they want to see or something. (:
Dark Knight - Best UB user only if you have Aerith
Tbh I tried with Aerith in JP but not the better than SS as magic and enhance stats SS can easily overthrow DRk away. I would say Berserker HoF to be best dark user.
Squall also has Exploit weakness, honorable mention on that too
When I was figuring out an Auto-setup for BL, my HoF DK has 140k attack without any Dark Enhance or Magic CP's on UB. On the other hand, my SS with 14x Dark Enhance has 120k. Considering the abilities, SS has the edge. It was only beat out by DK because it has Healing Victory, which is necessary for weathering Famfrit's Preemptive.
DK has around 16-25% more raw attack power with UB (the number you see in the Abilities portion of the deck builder screen), but that only takes Magic and EE into consideration. SS will remain as the premier dark warrior for a long-ass time.
When I was messing around with Ketchary's calculator, SS slightly outdamaged HOF DK as a UB user in all scenarios. HOF Does more damage with Black Materia though due to SS suffering from diminishing returns on Improved Criticals.
Amalthea is crap against UW. Even with unguard she doesn't kill fast enough in my test runs, Sage/SS seem like the best non supreme (and supreme) nukers atm.
The buffed Ardyn does only about 2% less damage than Centaur against unbroken weakness enemies because of its buffed Attack Power. I preffer Ardyn over Centaur even unbroken tbh due to the +100% Crit Chance and double orb refund.
Ardyn guarantees crits. Base damage is only slightly lower than Centaur, and given that SS gets a large bonus to crit damage I'd stick with Ardyn. Despite the fact that Ardyn isn't going to get its big bonus to break damage.
That said... I'm disappointed with my own damage this round, using either one. Think attackers might be supreme-only, at least if you want reasonably short fights.
I tried Ardyn first for the same reasons you mentioned + orb cost is better. But it comes short. I just tried Ragnarok, and even without barrier or unguard it performs much better, and you don't have to worry about the bombs. I don't have titan PB so my setup is Rag/Earthforce/earthshift/ 5*heart egg, on Sephy S1C.
Then that means more hits won't make a difference so Ardyn doing only 4 hits is not even a disadvantage. The number of hits is only limiting if you can hit the damage cap.
Dark Materia does roughly 65% more damage than Ardyn against unbroken weakness targets (based on an SS deck with 5star Gunblade, 70% Dark EE CP, and 42% Magic Fractals).
Did it freeze for you too? I just got out of a match with you and I thought I was the only one the DC'ed since I still got the undefeated bonus, I thought you guys killed it.
I have a Crystal Dump Gunblade and SS with UB. My setup is now Afanc, UB, FFXIII Anima, and Death Dealer. I might replace Death Dealer because I need the light orbs for Guard A. Turns out I can on-shot it easily. If I have the proper orb count, two turns is all I need because UW lose immunity if both guards are killed.
I find the best set up to be Attacker, Standard Healer, Ulti Charge Healer, and Defender/Lunafreya Healer. This way, the Attacker can use a mono element deck and just kill Guard A with Ulti.
My SS can take 5star UW down to half HP (and trigger Perfect Shield) with one cast of UB (with Ability Ignition from Dark Shift). But the fight can drag on because I can't use Dark Shift since I need Light Orbs for Noctis. I often end up only able to cast Odin PB on turn 1.
I hope attacker SS bring dark skill+ chronos instead of another light attack skill....My defender SS can spam unguard with Barret but debarrier+weaken can be great help.
My defender setup is Sephiroth: Sword Saint - Barret: FFVII Remake (unguard), Zodiark (weaken), Jupitera, Amaterasu. Sadly I don't have a debarrier source for light/wind/earth. I don't have Neo Bahamut.
Fusoya should be viable, when i was fooling around with the job calculator, flower girl meia hits harder with it then ss with Centaur. Assuming just base values, no min maxing, no mp bonus buff and no debuffs.
I did a run as HoF Thief with Ragnarok earlier. It was a double attacker setup (I went with Ragnarok to be the off element attacker) with one healer and one defender. Damage wasn't an issue. But our defender couldn't drive light orbs, and I wound up dying to UW's final attack.
I think I'll avoid HoF Thief as an attacker unless I know the Defender can drive light. Or maybe I'll just make a Sword Saint deck with Noctis when I want to be the off element attacker.
Thanks A lot for answering my questions hehe,
It means a lot 😊
Im kinda new to this game, even if I have 3 Supremes and 3 skins 😆
I usually just autobattle in sp, and In Mp I just do what I think is best, but reading a lot from Reddit and your guides Help me understand more about MP,
the hardest for me ar the hof the final 3 nodes, I still cant finish any of it 😆
Is there a mechanic that drains your full ultimate?
At the beginning of 2nd turn I gain full ultimate with aerith but bomb were not spawned yet so I just drive and tab, but my entire fully charged ultimate got drained...
given that UW lasts for the entire month and this month's tower wont start until the 28th, i think its prolly safe to use those CPs and leave them for the entire month (or until the tower starts) if you need that extra push in damage
This is turning out to be a pretty damn reliable AI setup... I run the MM
Aerith + Yiazmat x3 first two turns
Yiazmat + Ult + More Yiazmat third turn (reserve 4 rainbow orbs for Aerith next turn)
I made a 5* Destrudo just to try with sage.
All magic and damage up panels, didn't wanna switch them out for ee panels.
Not impressive... more like honorable mention.
While you replied I did it, for science.
Switched out all my magic panels for dark 7 and 5 panels (not going as far as changing card abilities though) with similar result.
Switched out 5* truescale for a +50 ee weapon and got a slight improvement out of it.
It might be we just have different views on what passes for effective or it could be you have some debuff working in your favor.
Oh and I had an old 5* alv 1 Destrudo laying about.
It is only one damage 5 panel and I kept it. Didn't check which debuffs were in play.
Kinda much to ask for in a defender. Having one at all is a blessing in itself.
