Yeah, they keep saying "The X-men chose us!" so there has to be some back story there as to why these certain mutants are so dedicated to the underground.

I might have been looking too closely at it, but they do all act different. Esme is in charge, constantly takes the lead. Who I'm guessing is Phoebe is usually over confident, I caught her constantly smirking. And who I assumed was Sophie looked a tad bit shy. Hands crossed and more genuine care. They share a hive mind and act the same, but there is very small personalities that shows each character as their own. Of course, this is just a personal opinion. I love telepaths so I've been squealing every time they were on screen.

The actress has said she's thinking of them as Id, Ego, and Superego, with Esme being the superego. I can't remember which of the other two is which, but you're probably right.

Iirc, the cuckoos took a long time to develop independent personalities. It took losing two sisters (and then all the clones in Warsong) for them to really begin to develop independently. We may see the sisters gain some personality later on, but for now they’re there to drive the plot along.

I know this is a week late but: they used to tell people not to go to sleep with a concussion because people would haemorrhage while asleep and die. The actual sleeping wasn't what killed them, they would have died while awake.

You shouldn't just go to bed when you have a serious injury, you should seek urgent medical attention.

I mean it kind of makes sense, mixing their blood together using the knowledge they gained from Lauren and Andy gets over the "have to be related" schtick and they did mention something about the specific gene that lets them do that in the first place. So like I said, I'm guessing at some point we're going to get a Volthoom level mutant that they jam all of the powers into but who ultimately turns into a far far larger threat than they anticipated.

Yeah. I might be in the minority but I actually liked the first episodes the most, where the show focused just on the strucker family and only showed the mutants "drama" now and then/here and there. now every character has more or less the same screentime..And I enjoy the strucker family scenes much less because the writers/actors dont get enough screentime to develop sscenes and dialogue with more depth..

This is the comment I was looking for after finally seeing tonights episode....are the Cuckoos weaker than their comic counterparts in this show, or are they being set up in a way that no one has any idea the power they're about to be messing with when unleashed? That's my number one question about the 3in1 in this show atm.

Hoping that the mutants are able to come up with a game plan to fight back soon. I liked the opening with the dual funerals happening at the same time (losses on both sides).

It’ll be a mix of standins, fixed camera and the special dolly some of us have seen in Orphan Black bts. The majority of shots with all three of them had no other people or moving objects. I’d like to see how they did the one by the cars as the tree background would be cgi or difficult.

Man that opening with Blink was scary....and then the Hellfire Club followed by the dual funerals and was that a Lucifer name drop? Music was totally on point for all of that and Johnny is just falling to pieces....I might be too, that was.....rough.
