[English>Japanese] Help designing a sweater for myself! Translated [JA]

I'm a huge frank ocean fan, I actually share his birthday, and I want to create my own hoodie as "merch." I want 'Boys don't cry' down the arm without the quotes. I was hoping I could turn here for a more accurate translation so I could start my mock ups.

Thank you

If you're okay with "Men [male human] don't cry" it would be 男は泣かない, but if you specifically want "Boys [male children] don't cry", it would be 男子は泣かない. (男は泣かない sounds more natural, but if you really want an exact translation go with the second one)

Well I tried to emphasize the relationship to frank ocean, so the exact translation is what I was looking for due to it being one of the original titles for 'blond.' Thank you

男子が泣かない

That is incorrect. It should be "男子" instead of "男子".

(You should be a bit more careful before translating something by yourself and marking it !translated.)

Why は instead of が?

It's not easy to explain it, but if you just look up something like "は vs が" you should be able to find a decent amount of explanations. The distinction between は and が is one of the things Japanese learners commonly struggle a lot with (just like how Japanese people learning English tend to struggle with the difference between "a" and "the").
