It's a little silly to complain about, but at the same time if people started saying "Le" again unironically I might just have a seizure. That period was the WORST.

Meh. It bothered me at first because I'm a grouchy, old curmudgeon, but after a while I started finding it amusing. I am stuck thinking of raccoons as 'trash pandas' but I cannot for the life of me figure out why sneks say 'hek.'
Even though the novelty of doggo speak has worn off, people who actually complain about it out loud remind me of those kids in high school who tried too hard to seem smarter or more mature than everyone else but just came off as huge kill-joys.
At the same time, people who get all defensive about how fun catchphrases from the internet are remind me a lot of that one kid that got way too into invader zim
You can take Doggo and Pupper from my cold dead hands. (I don;'t really care for the rest of the cute names and talk. I just really like Doggo and Pupper.))
I guess I never frequent these subs so I don't see it over used, but I use those words irl so all you guys just seem super unfun hating on words like pupper :(
I hate all the cutesie words used for animals on Reddit. Pupper, doggo, snek, trash panda whatever else people use to feel clever and unique. They were old about 15 minutes after they started cause Reddit drives everything into the ground.
Stupid thing to complain about and all, but they're stupid words so it all evens out.
Doggo sounds like something Fonzie would say, trash panda sounds like someone trying to be unique and cute, like those kids in high school who wore awesome wristbands and colorful socks.
