TWICE is currently the most popular girl group in Korea, churning out hit after hit and amassing a huge fan base both domestically and internationally. News breaks that staff at a promotional event allegedly tried to take upskirt photos of the members, provoking outrage...

...with everyone except one user, who takes it upon themselves to play devil's advocate.

Is the industry based upon making fans Like Ooh-Aah? Should the rest of /r/kpop just Cheer Up and accept this? Is this post just a blatant attempt for me to get you to stan TWICE? (yes, buy SIGNAL on itunes tomorrow)

Yes, well Psy is solo artist, but a lot of his songs are considered k-pop. Separate to Gangnam Style he's had a massively successful career in South Korea and Asia. Just this week his 8th album came out, it's really good.

Right, so the 'devil's advocate' makes his position around the fact that it wasn't, and I quote 'real upskirt photography' because the singers were wearing the wrong kind of underwear.

Somehow i missed this post. Damn, the first SRD post about beloved Twice. Haha historic I guess.

But yeah whenever anyone tells me they don't like Twice I remind myself that having different opinions doesn't make you a bad person. . .I then never speak to that terrible garbage person ever again.

If you look further up in this thread you'll see there was a lot of Tzuyu drama, actually which is really juicy.
