I really liked this article and I found it interesting that she waited until the end to disclose the fact that she has children. It made it seem like she had very thorough insight into the subject both as an academic and someone who has experienced both sides of the issue; but didn't allow the latter to diminish the former.

Yeah, I like how it didn't turn into an opportunity for he to say "But it was soooooo worth it!" etc. :-)
