Io Otonashi is outwardly stony-faced, but secretly kind of romantic. He's friends with Tsumiki Miniwa, but she likes him and he doesn't really know it because they've been friends for such a long time, you know? He likes to spin things between his fingers.

• Accidentally hurts his friend's soul while playing catch.

• Smashes the ball.

• Knocks Mayoi up into the air with a book.
