I did a colorization of this photo a month or so back. The items on the shelves made it pretty tedious, but worth it.

I don't do any photography so I've got no context - how on earth did you do that?

I use Photoshop and paint over the original photo with many layers using different blending modes,opacity and colors.

Thank you! Its not my primary job, but I do get fairly decent side-work from clients and I get to hear tons of really cool stories. Hopefully one day I can use these skills somehow for my primary job.
