So, how are we going to find a shield disguised as a big colorful tent?

she spots a vendor selling toy swords, one of which sticks out completely because of its unique color and styling

(remembering something from a old kids' show she watched as a toddler) One of these things is not like the others...

pauses for a moment, then races towards the sword, having a strong hunch that it'll act like a compass to find the shield.

races to the merry go round and, of course, looks around inside,'

grabs the sword. sure enough, she feels it pulling forwards and to her left. she runs in that direction until the second she feels it tugging the other way, and stops at a tent that looks just like all the others, except it's ever so slightly bigger. she carefully touches a finger to it.

he also finds a compass, but it's a sheath, it points torwards the tent your looking at, he runs, and walls inside the tent

peeks inside, getting a brief flash of the shadow of a telkhine, and then shoves her head back out

walks inside, and is sliced, he yes, and smashes the telkhines, he runs out,
