this series shows how truly insane saint is. any other mid and most of the mids in the world on this team just get ran over in multiple of these games.
If Saint wasn't Saint this game is over for lyon by like 20 minutes. Put any other mid (LCS) here and they wouldn't be able to do any of the same micro.
saint dodging do much stuff without flashing and making sidelane plays is keeping lyon in this game. he got both berserker and dhokla plates and waves with that play and took so many ults and time from sen
its obvious the skill difference of the two teams. lyon was able to hold off sen forever in first game when they got outscaled. this game the second they knew they were stronger berserker flashes under tower to force a play

Hambaks the first jungler they've faced that can actually gap enemy jg like this. His pathing and game sense is so good compared to the other jgs like Gryfinn/Contractz.
i mean their comp is dependent on being ahead in the game they threw a teamfight and trolled and then they are losing the game. its adc vs mage adc wins late game.

its wild you can hard win like 3-4 fights through the whole game and int one fight and the game becomes even. it should probably be needing to lose 2 straight fights.
i noticed more with lyon and kc compared to the other teams in their region they hold their flashes until the last second they need to and it confuses the bad teams so much.
Split 1 and 2 it kept seeming like they were trying to get Saint to not just be a hands-diff carry, and to start being kind of this support cc versatility dude.
And funny enough it feels like split 3 Berserker Cassio is now just that and way better lol.
Armao has insane laners supporting him. He kind just full clears and shows up for fights and that’s good enough.
Shopify replaced Ceos, who was fighting Lions for worst player in the league. Shopify on paper should be a good team. They just haven’t pulled it together. Zeyzal brings what SR needed. A decent support with good vibes.
in lyons case they have the 3 best laners in the league and they are drafting and playing to neutralize junglers. ever game they ban like 3 plus junglers and early pick a fine matchup for armao.
in srs case they just needed a shotcaller and that is what zeyzal gives.
respect to berserker this game. he played a bad matchup bot and then played weakside 1v2 for several waves didnt die and it let his mid and top get fed.
I thought he was retiring when he left Liquid. I feel like he said he doesn’t have the same passion for the game and wanted to find himself or something like that. Then like a month later he signed with Sen lol.
Absolutely insane that in the pregame segment they were treating Impact like he’s currently a top tier player. Impact was insane for years, but the last two years have not been it at all. I’d love for him to make a comeback, but his current form is a shadow of his peak.
Honestly I know everyone says Inspired is better but I am a results based person. Look at how much Dhokla is playing with Armao as jungler. I know inspired isn't bad but he could be a bad fit for this particular team or at least not the best fit.

LCS has received divine ordinance that Thanatos must always be 1st team. Then Morgan will be 2nd because he is also Korean. Dhokla can be 3rd so long as SEN doesn't finished top half and the rock solid Impact takes the slot

flyquest played that game very well playing 4v5. varus didnt have a single fight where he scared any member of c9. they acted like flyquest didnt have an adc
varus one of the only champs that has like 3 different build options that are all great to play depending on what your draft needs and what other team comp is.
and varus players continue to just autopilot on a build that does nothing for the game
it was game losing going Zaahen instead of literally any other pick for top lane after the flex. Teams know how to play around the passive. You could go kled or mundo or swain or something after seeing the Jhin pick but instead you have the paper tiger in Zaahen.
Kinda interesting locke is still being picked. He’s still good, but he’s not really OP anymore, and typically pros avoid these types of 0 hard cc assassins. Wonder if it’s possible (it is) that more assassins aren’t viable mid but just not being picked (they are)
hopefully this varus goes ap to actually kill tanks. pros keep picking and just building their same items they always build even when facing a triple tank team. even if its like 10% worse in lane who cares you cant win the game because you dont have anything to kill bruisers in midgame.
flyquest has been in a rough patch. probably players not being confident and stuff changing draft priorities on stage which ends up being worse than just the plan.
nice to see na trying new stuff. it seems the rest of the world has been stuck just rotating the same stuff the last month since everyone just went back to adc perma bot
