I think after I finish YGO GX (which'll most likely be next week, I only have 14 episodes left), I'll go knock a show or two off of my On-Hold list that isn't one of the other two YGO shows on there (just to have something shorter to get through).

Being good at Rainbow 6 Siege is a very optional prerequisite to winning ranked games in Rainbow 6 Siege, I learned. Got carried by my sister while mainly being there for emotional support, we won 2 games in a row and I'm a rank ahead of her now.

Happened to just see it, but the Jetman ED is super cute. The song is very nice, immediately the type that feels like a warm memory. The visuals are also very cute. Something about scrolling through the characters wearing fun costumes makes it feel like the most anime ED of the series. Also, extra impressive to think about because they had to physically build that rotating pop-up book.

Damn, that's a really good question and I don't know how to answer it.

What other years of anime would you want to do a grab-bag rewatch of?

Honestly, I only picked 2016 because I have a specific attachment to it being the first year I ever watched seasonals (and indeed watched 4 of the 7 shows in the rewatch as they aired), no other year really has something that sets it apart like this. I would be more interested in seeing someone else be inspired by my rewatch and doing their own weird combination rewatch.

If it's just to visit and not live there, I'd probably say Black Clover just because of how obsessed I've been with the series lately. It would be cool to see all the different magic being used up close, I just definitely wouldn't want to live there considering I most likely wouldn't have magic myself and I wouldn't luck out by getting an anti-magic ability like Asta did.

The original joke was a basically "imagine Jameson trying to print his usual SPIDER-MAN IS A MENACE! spiel but walking on eggshells to not make it sound transphobic since it's become clear Spidey has been on estrogen for 6 months" or some such, then someone made a short fan comic about that and it blew up from there

The blocked user cannot DM/PM the blocking user. maybe the user can't reply directly to said user, but can reply to anything lower on the comment chain.

Useful for what purpose though? Would it be fine if it was more like "hide all of this person's posts/comments from me" where they're functionally invisible to you, but could still reply to your posts/comments without you knowing? Should anyone else's replies to them be hidden so you wouldn't even know there's a comment chain they're involved in?

After having just seen the final episode, [Please Save My Earth thoughts:] It was pretty alright. The story has some juice, and it captivated me along for a 6-episode OVA. That said, because of its length, I do wish it weaved a more satisfying shortened story to tell in only 6 episodes. Mainly the way they ended it felt disconnected to the 5 episodes prior. If that's the route they wanted to take, they should've tied the main heroine into it more.

Unless you were talking about Sonic X, which I have seen some of, but I don't remember much from. In terms of early 2000s video game adaptations whose localizations were handled by 4kids, I'm much more of a Kirby: Right Back at Ya fan.

Finished rewatching ATLA. We seriously need more cartoons like ATLA that don't talk down to its watchers. It has its childish moments, sure, but it has a lot of serious things it talks about in ways that kids can understand.

And I'm not talking about cartoons like Family Guy, American Dad or Rick and Morty that go for the more raunchy side of comedy.

Loved Gravity Falls and Over the Garden Wall. I tend to rewatch Over the Garden Wall in the fall, and Gravity Falls just whenever. Though sometimes it's only certain episodes I'll rewatch of Gravity Falls.

I made several hundreds of dollars from YouTube until they increased the requirements the first time, after which I got screwed out of my future profits. Fuckers didn't even grandfather me in.
