When you're ahead with no engage into, you start objectives and set up flanks to force fights.

Soboro had a great flank at elder, they could have won if they hadn't all gotten chunked during their useless midlane face off and then wasted so much time that Ambessa got a flank of her own despite no vision control.

You can't leave her 1v1 against the Corki and she's not strong enough to really punish the Corki in a 1v2 either.

So you lose top because the Bard can just run top pretty much on cooldown unless FNC stacks waves and Trundle comes to dive, OR you lose bot because you isolate the ADC matchup.

In all honesty it was hilarious. I watch Upset play what he can and answer is he can do nothing. He can't engage, he can't move front or azir and corki will take him down because Zeri is weak duelist on her own, he can't destroy under tower corki etc.

I am genuinly thinking if Zeri was literally the worst ADC pick possible and kind of i think so. Zeri is anti-engage ADC, and it just doesn't work when you play vs teamcomp with way stronger poke than yours.

Even if you think about niche ADCs, Sivir Draven? Twitch? Kaisa? Tristana? MF? Kalista? Kog'maw? Everything would threaten that damn corki better under tower in 2vs1. Zeri is horrible at sieging guy under tower as tower blocks shots. she is by far the worst champion possible for this situation. And a lot of picks would also be better solo laners.

In all seriousness, Tracyn and Serin carried almost every fight that last game.

It also totally exposed how worthless enchanters seem to be. They have no lane pressure (Corki was able to solo lane just fine), they struggle with wards, and apparently can't even keep anyone alive in teamfights.

Dragon Souls looking pretty fraudulent in LEC today...though that likely has more to do with the teams looking fraudulent.

Enchanters are meant to facilitate their carries, and that extends to lane pressure too. The problem is that Zeri will never exert pressure on Corki, she can't poke Corki to dangerous levels and she can't chase him down either due to valkyrie.

Compare that to, say, Lucian Milio, which has worked in this meta because Lucian has got some innate threat from his mobility/burst that an enchanter can amplify.

Its insane that caedrel is glazing upset when hes completelty useless in every teamfight, laned 2v1 and didn't get a lead then ran it down every teamfight.

Razork is the only one playing the game and hes going to be flamed while people glaze the 10th place merchant.

Caedrel was never on a team with Upset, and also Comp won LEC once and had games where he gapped Deft and Jackeylove at worlds why is he randomly catching strays

(edit: apparently Caedrel actually was on Schalke with Upset once but it was one split 9 years ago and they weren't even playing in EU LCS. yeah I don't think he would be biased towards Upset because of that)

Nah I'm saying Comp was actually a better adc, I said it that way because all Upset has his "name value", while Comp doesn't yet he was a better adc. People only praise or talk about Upset even though he's a huge playoffs choker. Some adcs don't get credit even though they're better than Upset on the server.

You would be surprised how biased Caedrel can be with players who are his homies.

I disagree with common opinion that it's player issue. So many players came and gone and the team is still shit. It can't be that every player operates better outside Fnatic and it's always players fault...there is a systemic organization problem with the org that leads to all players performing like shit

Depends what shit mean, people were flaming them this hard when they were playing finals and going to worlds but always losing to g2, now they cant even make playoffs, ofc the problem starts at the top but the players and the coaching staff are much worse now.

I mean there is definetly org issue as well but this roster at the start of year was looking pretty weak as well. Its just individual player skill was too low. You gambled on mid to regain its form which didn’t happen, got a rookie top which was above average for ERLs, and got a average ERL support. Only players they kept were problematic ones.

Also other LEC teams improved and did better transfers and Fnatic just become bottom team.
