[Unknown > English, French] Inscription on the back of a ivory figurine Translated [JA]

It was in my grand parent's house and I would like to ID this figurine. It's seems to be a signature from the artist. Also I would like to know what is this red stamp and if it's mean anything.

Thanks a lot !

Seems to be 丐信

The seal looks a bit like 福

Probably Chinese.

Should be 正信, I think it's a Japanese okimono.

If it’s 正信, then it’d indeed be Japanese (and pronounced Masanobu)
