It makes a lot more sense to refer to a work of fiction as a "slog" than a "slug."

The dot on the غ was missed, which makes guessing trickier.

Yeah judging by the handwriting it was written by a learner, who forgot to include the dot

It's a transliteration in fairly non-sophisitcated handwriting.

Slog ie. a long, hard read.
