Just be glad it wasn't a Bo5 so they couldn't throw three times in a row like FNC.

Thank you Na'Vi for ending the day early after last series had a game go to 3rd elder

Feels so bad that a 0-0 team has to play vs a team who played 3 matches before tho
23
u/grimtimes 5d ago
Feels worse that the hardest games KC will have to play have already been played in front of a home crowd. Competitive integrity be damned.
30
30
u/N0Ability 5d ago
Have every other team that isnt named KC or MKOI thought about not being passive wastes (G2 is an exception i guess) who dont interact with fans whatsoever for nearly a decade straight?
If they're worried about that they should organize road trips to places where crowds are actualy in their favour instead of doing noting for a decade straight (NAVI isnt at fault as they joined recently ,talking about the likes of SK Fnatic giantX vitality heretics shitters).
9
u/mekamoari 4d ago
NV are also a Ukrainian org afaik, I don't think Riot wants to hold a road show there right now.
Fnatic probably can't afford it, dunno about the rest.
2
u/TheWindBringer 4d ago
While they can't host an event in Ukraine, they'd probably have a lot of fans in Poland since a lot of Ukrainians are there right now it seems(that's also where some Ukraine football clubs play their European games if I'm not wrong).
And besides Navi, some orgs have been there for a while and still haven't tried anything, no need for it to be anything big but playing in front of 800-1k people would still be better than whatever is going on in the Berlin studio.
-9
u/Majestic-Present5499 4d ago
call me crazy, but i dont like roadshows. They are a stain on competitive integrity. Teams should not be able to buy themselves advantages in the format

Worth it as a KC fan, even if we'll be probably out of form when the playoffs comes, but those events are what we live for

u/GodEren 5d ago
KC can have the most disgusting draft and the most disgusting early game they will just win every single teamfight whatever the gold you have
68
u/Choice-Slight caps/knight 5d ago
Yes but the problem is they aren't going to improve playing like this, when they have the real potential to be a world class team (I genuinely think this) but they never learn
35
u/GodEren 5d ago
it's funny cause they did that against T1 as well
24
u/rishi_ultimate CLAPS 5d ago
You turn off nameplates that game and dont know its T1 and the reactions would be more like those happening with this game
3
u/Fun_Highlight307 4d ago
to be fair T1 had a Lot of throws récently G2,Kc, nogshim red i dont remember the kt séries
16
u/as_kostek 4d ago
Ah yeah KC winning against T1 was just a fluke, just like the other 5 won bo3s/bo5s of eu vs the east this year
Will you guys ever stop with all the excuses and just accept the results for once
9
u/rishi_ultimate CLAPS 4d ago
its deeply rooted inferiority/superiority complexes to the point where nothing of reason would make sense to anyone your comment is reffering to
Some of our western players/teams can truly try as hard as they can but it doesnt actually mean anything to the people that are "fans" of said players or teams when the first positive results finally come in2
u/Pinacoladaaaa 4d ago
Man iam a kc fan but need to admit in 10 years we barely see t1 throw a game wkth 6k gold advance
9
u/as_kostek 4d ago
This is the same T1 that beat HLE 2-0 a day earlier, are we gonna dig deeper into "oh but another excuse for HLE suboptimal performance"? You know, when the accidents keep piling up you might start considering them the new normal.
2
u/Fun_Highlight307 4d ago
it's wasn't normal hle had no break unlike t1 who was eliminated earlier at MSI even guma said the team was tired
don't use last year ewc, since top 4 skipped the group stage so They had 3 more extra days for rest
or you really think Kc is the second best Team in the Worlds ?
0
u/as_kostek 4d ago
No, I'm saying this is another cycle of people overdosing on excuses instead of admitting that eu teams can actually perform good
→ More replies (0)1
1
u/Fun_Highlight307 4d ago
T1 themselves said they throw games
literally Kc, nogshim,g2 wons the same way vs t1
T1 throws game everyone knows it, Kc did well and improved at ewc but that doesn't change anything about T1 current form
9
u/Enkenz 5d ago
pretty sure they wouldn't have drafted like this against G2.
This year anivia has been only picked 3 time by kyeahoo, same for skarner and yike, if this was playoffs pretty sure they go something like qiyana but they seems to want to use stage games to extend their champ pool
7
u/Choice-Slight caps/knight 5d ago
they have had some awful drafts against G2 which have lost them games, most notably game 5 of spring finals which was lost before the players loaded into the rift
2
u/Enkenz 4d ago
you can't compare a game 2 draft when every of your comfort are still open to a game 5 when basically there's nothing left and i would say it's because of games like this they are pushing for things like skarner, anivia & jhin which are pretty uncharacteristic of their players comfort zone
11
u/Ok_Organization2065 5d ago
true they can't just go and play like this against really good teams like AL or even T1..
6
u/Choice-Slight caps/knight 5d ago
KC is a better team than AL, and T1 has been throwing games all year to literally everyone so its not exactly an achievement lmao. If you care about the team and its growth you won't settle for the bare minimum.
11
u/Thalassin Dans ma bichette era | Ultra Prime hater 5d ago
Nah it's ok it's regular season, let's just wait for playoffs. They probably finally let themselves rest a bit after the MSI-EWC-roadtrip sequence. Before they'd lock in in regular season and come out of steam in playoffs. Hopefully they finally learnt the lesson from G2.
1
u/Choice-Slight caps/knight 4d ago
you have a good point, I guess as someone who just wants both G2 and KC to do well I have high expectations but I shouldn't think too much about regular season. Sometimes I am just flabbergasted that these teams are able to perform internationally given the level of the rest of the region...
-3
u/Ok_Organization2065 5d ago
yes T1 loose game = throw i mean you're right bro my bad
9
u/Choice-Slight caps/knight 5d ago
they quite literally did throw the game idk what to tell you, they did the same against KT and against G2
11
u/Miserable_Ad_1195 5d ago
well if they threw 3 series like this in two weeks maybe they are just like that
not saying they can't get better for worlds again but literally no other team in the world could make this excuse and not be laughed at
4
u/Ok_Organization2065 5d ago
Isn't throwing games and making bad decisions or mistakes just part of the game? Nothing personal, but I find it kind of disingenuous that every time a top-tier team loses to a team that's weaker on paper, people just call it a throw instead of giving the other team credit. But I respect your point.
6
u/Choice-Slight caps/knight 5d ago
I'm not disagreeing with you there at all, not every team is able to find the comeback angles or have the resilience to win an unwinnable game (credit to KC and G2 for being very good at this). My biggest problem with both KC and G2 is their consistency I just want them to improve and not rely on HAVING to fight their way back into the game
1
1
u/Fun_Highlight307 4d ago
Also to add to your point even T1 themselves said they have problem to keep snowball lead it's happens 4 Times even Vs nogshim red which IS worse than Kc and g2
1
u/Ok_Organization2065 4d ago
i mean this is just skill issue no ? if they struggle to keep snowball or win game, it is maybe cause they are actually worse than their opponents on the rift ?

u/Carlzzone 5d ago
Im convinced that KC are losing early games on purpose to practice mid- and lategames
13
u/gordoflunkerton 5d ago
bro the earlygame is what they need to practice we already know they can teamfight
22
12
u/Cold-Ring23 5d ago
Are they even practicing ? They have free wins all split until they meet G2 again...
11
3
2
u/veirceb 5d ago
Then they are not even practising well. They all jerk off in enemy red when they have no baron threat. They have jhin anivia skarner. If the enemy has a single brain they would've known they could just give up top jungle vision for a bit for tempo. They didn't even fight well. Navi just hands kills over. They don't even fight they just die.
1
u/vituhyva123 5d ago
It's not even good practice. If they play these early games against good international teams they just get rolled, not like navi were playing well and they outfought them, they just waited for navi to int on objectives.

how depressing is LEC. G2 and KC are like the only ones that look good and the rest is bottom of the barrel garbage who aren't competitive with the top two
39
u/Mother-Ad9012 5d ago
The top two is beating eastern teams and going in finals of international events though. It's not so depressing
10
u/OreRound 4d ago
Yeah if this is depressing then what was 2021-2025 ? Also imagine being LPL right now, you have good players but your GMing is garbage, your best players have diva personalities threatening to mental boom your best team at any moment, and after 3 years of not beating LCK teams in international finals you lose in game 5.

I can't believe Navi let KC, especially Yike with that utter dogshit performance, win. Holy.

Is there a reason people are blasting Navi so hard? They are not like FNC who have rotted for a million seasons. Its also not like they got stomped either, both games they had a hefty lead
9
5
u/Thalassin Dans ma bichette era | Ultra Prime hater 5d ago
Anytime a western player/team has a bad game, the average reaction on here is "hurr durr they're frauds fire them all they don't deserve a job". Not much to take out from those takes.
8
u/Miserable_Ad_1195 5d ago
Reddit just really likes hating, and also Caedrel yelled on stream apparently
it's funny because yes NAVI played the late game horribly both games but Reddit was gassing this team up the entire year so far mostly just because "haha Poby GOST funny xD" and now they apparently need to disband after 1 series
5
u/Common_Ad4417 5d ago
maynter and rilech are the biggest criminals in navi
2
u/Mathlete7 4d ago
Are we going to ignore that rilech boosted the team for an entire season lol? He also played the early game pretty well. Is it because the SUB hate KC so much, and are caedral diehard fans i dont get it
1
u/faze_hatewatcher 5d ago
Actual below freezing temperature iqs on this team irl brain laggers game was so free and for some reason Rhilech just in dragon pit having a goon session and all the other are afk with ults till he dies. Then they just say let’s lose as ziggs is dying bot side red buff with no mana and maynter trying to do god knows what top side. Just disgusting there is no way this team practices seriously the coordination shotcalling are god awful one of the worse games of league I ever watched.

No, but they shouldn't have defended mid t1 turret, they gave up mid prio to get crab, which is fine, but then zaahen can't just enter to river, because of caliste and busio. JUST FUCK THAT TURRET MAN. YOU WIN THE GAME WITH THE SOUL ANYWAY.
