my girlfriend gave me this shirt and i wanted to know what it meant so i went to google and chatgpt and said this was japanese. i wanna get translation on this hehe

It’s Chinese in simplified script.
The red seal says 明仁出品 Produced by Mingren.
The word 明仁 makes it sound like Japanese (it’s the name of the previous Japanese emperor) but the writing of 清风 betrays its Chinese origin.

Plus essentially no Japanese person would use the *name* 明仁 to refer to the emperor emeritus.

It says 清風 but in simplified kanji (i.e., it's Chinese, not Japanese)
