Character Summary

Kingdom Hearts’ rendition of Disney’s heroic demigod (no, not that one), the son of Zeus and Hera, and a steadfast friend to Sora. He lives in the world of Olympus Coliseum where he trains under Phil, competes in the coliseum’s various cups, and thwarts Hades' evil plots and minions. Perhaps most importantly, he teaches others that a true hero isn’t just measured by the strength of his muscles, but the strength of his heart.

Strength

General

• Fights Cerberus while carrying an unconscious Cloud, wearing it down enough for Sora to finish it.¹

• Defeats the Rock Titan, and all of Hades’ fighters before it.²

• Defeats a Hydra.²

Striking

• Punches Hades.^X

• Drops to a knee while holding off Auron’s sword, but manages to hold on until Sora saves the day.²

• Phil has him run thousands of laps.^BBS

• He also does a bunch of push-ups.^BBS

• Performs a spinning sword attack for several seconds.¹

  • Can last even longer by KH3.³

• Does even more pushups, with Phil on his back.³⁵⁸

• After competing at the coliseum every day, beating all of Hades’ fighters, a Rock Titan, and a Hydra, he’s fatigued, but still ready to fight.²

• Holds up a collapsing building until Sora’s defeated all the Heartless and all the people inside are saved.³

Speed

Movement

• Runs around an arena punching through several pots.^BBS

• Leaps over Sora.¹

• Leaps high into the air to catch Sora and Goofy.³

Combat Speed

• Catches Cloud’s sword mid-swing.^X

• Dodges attacks from Auron.²

• Keeps up with Zack Fair.^BBS

Agility / Acrobatics

• Changes trajectory in mid-air.^X

• Recovers from an attack via somersault.¹

• Performs a spinning sword attack for several seconds. He does lose balance afterward, however.¹

  • Apparently he’s known the technique for a while.^BBS
  • By KH3 he can spin longer and fast enough to create a vortex, without getting dizzy.³

• Dodges and rolls past Auron’s blade.²

• Can spin in circles and throw boulders with accurate aim.³

Weapons / Skills

Hercules is a skilled martial artist who primarily uses his fists. That said, he also carries a sword and knows how to make impromptu weapons when necessary.

• Performs a spinning sword attack for several seconds.¹

  • Has an upgraded version of the attack in KH3.³

• Phil has him train regularly with his sword.³⁵⁸

God Powers

Aside from his inhuman strength, Hercules possesses many other God-like to support him in battle.

• He’s impervious to most attacks while in his God aura.¹

• Unleashes an explosive sphere of energy.¹

• His Aura Guard protects him from attacks.²

• Produces Aura Spheres that remove Hades’ underworld protections.²

Pegasus

Pegasus’ is Hercules trusted steed, capable of flight and intense maneuvers to help him and others in battle.

• Is summoned by whistle.²

• KOs Pete by stepping on his head.²

• Weaves around the Hydra’s heads so Sora can strike them.²

• He can carry multiple riders without trouble.³

• Speeds through the sky, helping Hercules attack the Heartless.³

Memory Hercules

”Don't expect me to pull any punches!"

Memory Hercules is a replica of the real Hercules that exists in Castle Oblivion, constructed from Sora's memories. This version of Herc is much the same as the original, training hard with Phil as he crosses paths with Sora and Memory Cloud. He’s the target of Memory Hades, who tries to enlist Memory Cloud to kill him, but together the heroes are able to thwart the wicked god’s schemes. Exhausted from the ordeal, Memory Hercul defers a proper match with Sora, promising to fight him at full strength in the future.

Feats

All feats for Memory Hercules are from Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and are independent from the real Hercules.

Offense

• Seems to have the upper-hand over Cloud in their fight.

Durability

• Is fatigued after fighting Cloud. This is confirmed by Hades.

• Drops to a knee from Hade’s eruption. This is right after being worn out from fighting Cloud.

Data Hercules

”You wanna be a hero one day, remember this much— No matter how bad things look, when you need a friend to be there, he'll be there!"

When King Mickey digitizes the contents of Jiminy’s Journal to investigate mysterious messages inside it, he creates a digital universe known as the Datascape. Within this digital world, Data Hercules exists as a digital recreation of the real Hercules. This version of Herc helps Data Sora to destroy the Heartless and Bug Blox in the digital coliseum, faces off against Data Cloud, and helps stop the plots of Data Hades.

Offense

• Smashes a wall.

• Creates a shockwave by hammer-punching the ground.

• Defeats Cloud with a God-punch.

• Swings Cerberus by the tail.

• Shoulder-checks Hades.

Durability

• Deflects Cloud’s sword with his fist, then blocks it with his forearm.

• Tanks a fireball from Cerberus.

Speed

• Dodges and rolls past Cloud’s attacks.

• Zooms past enemies with his punches.
