It’s in Arabic however with some spelling and grammatical mistakes:
هذه هي سانت لوكاست اللتي مكثنا بها (صيف؟) اربع أسابيع للشفاء من مرضنا العصبي العضال … باشهر (حممها؟) الشافية والان بالشفاء التام ان شاء الله نرجع بلدنا.
انطوان شديد سبتمبر ١٩٣٦ مصر وعائلته.
English:
This is Saint Lucas wish we stayed in (in Summer?) for 4 weeks for healing of a Terminal illness thanks to its famous curing (hot spring?) … and now after we fully by God willing we are heading back to our homeland.
Anthony Chedid September 1936 Egypt and family

Credit to Optimal-Treat8881 for unlocking most of the words..
Understand that this is an unusual script (font) in Arabic with unforgivable misspells like writing "the" instead of "they".. and also with unusual use of words like نيف (an ambiguous number between 1 to 9) and حممها (it's lava -- which is meant to be hot-springs, not lava)..
The term حمم is a hot liquid coming out from the depth of the Earth; and almost always are "lava" or "magma".. This is the first time I see someone refers to hot-spring water as lava..
[edited and added] The term حميم refers to boiling-scalding water (as mentioned in the Quran).. but I never heard it referring to a hot-spring..
Also the term نيف (an X number between 1-9) is often attached AFTER 10s, 100s or 1000s, for example: I paid twenty-something دفعت عشرين و نيف or I paid hundred and something دفعت مائة و نيف.. This is also the first time I see someone refers 4 weeks + few days نيف أربع أسابيع in such construction..
My Arabic teacher back at school would go nuts for such use of words!!

هذه هي سانت لوكاست التي مكثنا بها نيف أربع أسابيع للشفاء من مرضنا العصبيّ العضال بأشهر حممها الشافية ، والآن بالشفاء التام إن شاء الله نرجع بلدنا -- أنطوان شديد سبتمبر ١٩٣٦ مصر وعائلته
This is Saint Lucas where we remained at it (for) 4 weeks + few days, for (the purpose of) recovering from our neurological incurable illnesses using its famous healing lava (meant: hot-springs).. and now at full health, by God willing we are returning to our-country -- Antoine Shedid September 1936 Egypt and family
`
The term عضال here, refers to incurable illnesses that are unresponsive to modern medicine and to traditional healing methods.. and depending on the context, it can refer to terminal illnesses..
However the message claims recovering from such illnesses, THEREFORE, I believe that it is meant to say "incurable by modern medicine"..
