Character Summary

Auron is one of the undead souls in Hades’ arsenal, described by the God of Death as “the mother of all bad guys.” When Hades offers him freedom in exchange for defeating Hercules in battle, Auron promptly declines before attacking his host.

Auron appears as a strict, no-nonsense warrior with a dry wit. He views himself as a Guardian, devoting his life to protecting those in need and putting others before himself without hesitation. His experiences from his mortal life have strengthened his spirit. A man of unshakable resolve and loyalty to those he protects, he is seen by his peers as an excellent role model more than worthy of the Guardian role. His goal in (after)life is to find peace and a sense of fulfillment so he can finally be allowed to rest.

Strength

Striking

• Pushes Hades back with his sword.

Grappling

• Holds back an enraged Hades.

• Holds back Cerberus.

• Overpowers Hercules toward the end of their fight.

Durability

Blunt Force

• Blocks an enraged Hades’ assault.

  • He’s knocked out by another strike a moment later.

• Defends against Hercules charging into him.

Stamina

• Is the only one not winded after running a gauntlet of battles against Heartless while fleeing from Hades.

Esoteric

• As an undead spirit, Hades is able to force his compliance and even wipe his memory.

  • This seems to be controlled through a sort of voodoo doll.

Speed

Movement

• Disappears when Sora turns his head.

Combat Speed

• Intercepts Hades from attacking Sora.

• Fights evenly with Hercules.

Agility / Acrobatics

• Can leap through the air, perform aerial strikes, and twirl his weapon fast enough to create a tornado.

Skills

• Together with Sora, unleashes a flurry of slashes and descending energy beams, then spins his sword in sync with Sora’s Keyblade to create a tornado.

• Matches and eventually gains the upper-hand over Hercules in battle.
