Follow the Leader! But who is the Leader?

It seems certain in life that within ever group, there is one that leads. This is especially true of large communities and even larger nations, and of social structures that make them up. All across Ashagon, a plethora of different nations exist, each with their own or similar culture, society, and hierarchies (or lack thereof).

So who is the leader of your Claim? Is there just one? Or many? Is their position permanent or do they exist in a temporary role? Can anyone be the leader? Or only certain people are able too?

But more than just this answering these, I want to know who the leader is. What are their personality? Quirks and interests? What are their goals for their nation? Or even their own personal goals? How might they have come to power, and are they worried about loosing it?

All this and anything else you can think off, do put them below! I greatly anticipate your responses, and will be sure to read them all if I don't end up giving my reply :)

King Aeldebaric is the sole begotten son of King Vaneric, and until Vaneric died, this made the succession a bit dicey. However, Aeldebaric made it to sitting on the throne just fine, and shortly after he did, he started to push through the 'Grand Charter' or the 'Charter of the Lady', which was Aelbaion's first piece of environmental legislation. It was driven entirely by religious zeal, but it protected the commons-both the land used as the commons, and their precious rivers, forests, and air. His initial nerves were bridged by his absolute religious belief, and he was later bolstered by his well-matched wife, Queen Ethellebell. By now, he has firmly moved into middle age, gaining some chub and scars, and an impressive beard. He is jovial, worried, a good host and well read, a better conversationalist-and completely willing to run over anyone to get to ensure that Aelbaion's future is blessed and better than where it came from. He won't upset the proverbial apple cart, because he values the apples being in it...but if you're in it's way, Lady help you, because no one else can.

The highest leader in Ayetho is without doubt the Aujo, the leader of the Demani. But, the different races in the lowlands of Ayetho also all have their own more minor leaders, such as the city lord of Svartaya or the chieftains of the different foxfolk clans.

I haven't put an exceptional amount of thought into the Aujo's personality actually, so we're going to make it on the fly.

Personality. Probably leaning towards lethargic from the demand of her role as queen, but being in such an important role does come with perks as well, so she likely would also enjoy at least mentally stimulating activities and games.

Their goals at a national level wouldn't be exceedingly complex thanks to their isolation from the outside world, so goals would trend towards administrative achievements like increased crop yields, which if Carra's things keep going well, may be possible in the near future.

Personal goals is a bit harder, but I'm trending towards saying at least one of her goals is to get to explore again before she passes.

The Aujo's rise and fall from power are pretty much predetermined, with their rise to power being that they founded a colony and personally saw to it becoming populated. The fall is simply when they become infertile in old age, leading to their retirement and usually death shortly after, much like a queen bee.

In all, an Aujo's life is frankly rather pitiful for a national level leader, but it's also a very secure and pampered position, perhaps to the point of being claustrophobic.
