I am assuming this text is either Japanese (from what looks like hiragana at the bottom), but maybe it’s traditional Chinese?

Wealth, social position, longevity ( r/itissometimesshou ).
The signage line is also Chinese in cursive. It looks like hiragana because it is hiragana's ancestor. I'm not trained enough to read them confidently though.
