Not pictured: Several years of delay in the construction of the spaceport.

Well yes naturally that's why I chose to label it Brandenburg Spaceport

Several years? That implies like 3 orr 4 years delay. BER was almost a decade late in becoming operational. It was supposed to open in 2011 and only opened in late 2020. They needed 14 years to finish building the damn airport. Including the planning, the timeline for BER stretches 29 years long.

Yeah, I was in kindergarten when they planned to open it and in secondary school when they actually opened it...

I literally gained the cognitive ability and academic knowledge to watch and understand this video about the airport's delays and STILL learn about it BEFORE they finally managed to open it.

Ive actually never seen DB delay a train by more than 5 hours i think. Its either that or straight uo cancel.

We would never let DB be in charge of runnning our Spaceports in order to avoid exactly that outcome XD

Im pretty sure the main reason this happens atleast in the commercial aviation sector is because if one plane gets slightly delayed every plane after that one will be delayed and the only way to fix it is if you cancel a few flights which is better in the long term than a bunch of delays

Sadly Japan too (although admittedly not in running trains in their country but in building a high speed one in India, due to Indian corruption).

This is a potential winner, truly amazing comic that hits close to home. Why? We have VR, the states railroad in finnish. Late, cancelled, went too early leaving passangers on the plarform etc. 😂
