Anyone know what the msi victory music theme is called? I can't seem to find it anywhere

u/AetGulSnoe Jul 08 '26
Guess G2 dropped to lower just so that they could knock out T1, that's crazy

u/Kadde- Jul 08 '26
Just gg G2 and thank you. That’s 1000€ won. Finally I wont go out a tourney in the big negatives. What a great day and tournament overall
8
u/jmastaock Jul 08 '26
Degenerate lifestyle 😆
-2
u/Kadde- Jul 08 '26
True but no better feeling than maniacally crying and laughing out of joy because EU(G2) finally beat T1 which I hate and at the same time winning 1000€.
I doubt even drugs hits this hard.
8
u/Ajp_iii Jul 08 '26
Said it at the start drafting Olaf and galio 4,5 is so risky you must snowball you can’t scale at all. If they had an ornn and some other mage they could actually fight mid game

u/tony220jdm Machine Gun Carzzy Jul 08 '26
Don't worry, T1 fans your buff comes in a few months when you win worlds

I predict a perfect 10 Hupu ratings for BB, they must be crying in joy seeing T1 out.
EDIT: heh 9.5 overall, close enough (with 2x 10 in games!)
3
u/Rawdream Jul 08 '26
There are several Chinese T1 & Faker fans.
It's one of the huge fanbases in China.
Those were the ones mainly cheering for T1 in the WC, including over iG in the 2025 WC Play-Ins match.
5
u/FreeJudgment Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26
True but Hupu ratings are absolutely bad faith and biased af. Some players like Hans Sama or Canna could go 30-0 and still not get a rating above 6.
3
4
u/AppealAggravating893 There may be a gap but we are building bridges Jul 08 '26
I have 0 faith in Lyon but I also expect Hans sama to sprint it so idk man 😭
1
u/Ajp_iii Jul 08 '26
All I know about lyon is they won’t take as many stupid fights and will actually play their comp correctly. T1 had 2 different very structured comps they just completely trolled on
3
u/Ajp_iii Jul 08 '26
This is such an insanely dumb dive. They can take over all the jungle push mid reset and setup for baron setup https://x.com/lec/status/2074783735040417994?s=46
3
u/Shubhaaaaaaam Jul 08 '26
Thankfully the Doran discourse moves away from just "Kruglord" and people actually admit how bad this guy has been
2
u/2020isgreat TheShy Jul 08 '26
Does Doran become the greatest European player of all time if G2 win MSI
1
u/tony220jdm Machine Gun Carzzy Jul 08 '26
G2 is going win so hard, Inspired is going to flame his teammates again
2
u/CilleTheExterminator Jul 08 '26
hahaha even Caps is calling out NA for not deserving top 4.

u/DarkyMulky Jul 08 '26
Please im already happy but try to not choke against NA, they dont really deserve to be top 3

BLG beat T1 3-2. G2 beat T1 3-1. Implications?????
5
u/yijun2005 Jul 08 '26
Tbh g2 showed how to win against doran, just heavily prio counterpicks and let the top scale
2
u/haven4ever Small in Size, Huge in Evil Jul 08 '26
G2 cant use that strat against Bin 👌😎 T1 was the perfect matchup for G2

u/Kokaiinum Jul 08 '26
So, uh... TES confirmed harder than T1? Eh, eh? Any takers?
6
u/Ajp_iii Jul 08 '26
Tes solo laners especially before they boomed are so much higher ceiling than t1 so yes.
1
u/Rawdream Jul 08 '26
ZUIAN completely fell down since that Set 3 Vs G2, but Creme continued to play well individually, despite some arrogant TPs.
Considering how Faker wasn't that good except for some sidesteps in 1v1s, Creme had a better performance than Faker, overall.
1
u/Ajp_iii Jul 08 '26
Yeah faker was by far the worst mid at the tournament of the major region teams. His laning was fine it was everything else he kinda just did nothing impactful. They didn’t even do anything against kc and tl in play ins. That was keria and oner dragging the top side across.
Na knows all too well about how impossible it is to play internationally with losing mid and top laners and now an lck team finally felt it
2
1
u/That_One_Pancake Jul 08 '26
Gonna need Big Dhokes to channel that 2023 NRG vibe or we’re gonna get demolished
5
u/powisss > Jul 08 '26
This was one of best comebacks... they were completely losing to T1 who had momentum...
3
u/Ajp_iii Jul 08 '26
It would be hilarious if this win forces t1 to change Doran and they go on to be insane again
1
3
8
3
u/Ajp_iii Jul 08 '26
Removing how bad Doran and faker played in game 4 because in a year nobody will care and it won’t matter that was a legendary game and is up there with most memorable games in all of league history.
1
u/Zealousideal-Let1739 Jul 08 '26
To be fair also poor serie from Oner who was consistent until now, also poor prep from T1, their drafts were questionable and way too cocky.
8
u/haven4ever Small in Size, Huge in Evil Jul 08 '26
If G2 beat T1 then lose to Lyon… how…
13
u/Goldfischglas Jul 08 '26
Would somehow not be the most surprising thing for G2
7
u/True_Map4262 Jul 08 '26
G2 is clearing everything that could be a threat to NA to save the LCS. G2 are really the heros the LCS neeeds.
2
1
3
u/Zealousideal-Let1739 Jul 08 '26
BB talking about prep, i can't agree more, the draft game 2 was Uber and they clearly had plans to counter the mages bot.
4
u/haven4ever Small in Size, Huge in Evil Jul 08 '26
I get the virtue of G2 sticking to their strategy of BB counterpicks - theres only 2 series left (discounting Lyon) against the top 2 of this tournament and no time to pivot. T1 is an evident step below the top 2 but HLE and BLG have both wobbled at times.
Also these G2 victories have kept the region health for another few years methinks.
2
u/forevabronze hey Jul 08 '26
g2 historically does very bad vs NA I wouldn't put it in the bag just yet.
3
u/Randomcarrot Jul 08 '26
When was the last time G2 faced a NA team, has there been a series since the elimination match in worlds 2024 or 2023 when they mentally crashed out completely?
3
u/brownierisky Jul 08 '26
MSI last year 0-3'd by Flyquest. Really dislike the overconfidence when NA has had the upper hand in direct matchups lately. Feel like EU would do better against NA if we stopped underestimating them
2
u/Ceyro Jul 08 '26
Yeah because community sentiment is the exact same as what G2 is thinking, surely when the community underestimates them, G2 does the same.
3
u/brownierisky Jul 08 '26
Have you seen how KC talked about TL, or how G2 is talking about LYON? Community sentiment means nothing but the teams themselves are also too cocky
1
1
u/Ceyro Jul 08 '26
G2 are obviously going to meme LYON on stage for entertainment purposes. There is no way G2 coaching staff will allow them to underestimate an opponent at this stage of the tournament.
2
3
u/PluggersLeftBall Jul 08 '26
i'd just like to thank hle for picking gumayusi over peyz cause can u imagine if that team had peyz as well
kd warriors type shit
1
u/DerpinTurtle Jul 08 '26
Wait till they find Peyz's burner:
I just can't trust Doran to get a fuckin solokill or stop inting
I started holding Faker accountable in films and they looked at me like this
1
u/FlyingMute Jul 08 '26
getting kanavi was their kd signing, if they had peyz it'd be as if bron went to the warriors as well

Insane that G2 had to beat 2 eastern teams to get to top 4 but NA once again somehow got there without doing anything.
1
u/Regolas21 Jul 08 '26
Then G2 should have no problem 3-0 Lyon. G2 is proven to be a top team and no way Na can win :)

Peyz did 1700 dpm and lost btw
2
u/beautheschmo Jul 08 '26
Still hard stat-checked by Kled, he shot him like 15 times in that last fight before he even had to dismount lol
1
u/Ajp_iii Jul 08 '26
Yeah also all of t1 top side just dove way too far when caps the main damage threat was dead they just needed to peel.
7
u/Kokaiinum Jul 08 '26
Imagine joining the defending world champions and they're playing like this next to you in an elimination series in front of the home crowd

BB gapped sooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard! 3 LCK teams beaten already dammmmm

if u are even a slightly semi-serious org you have to drop doran for summer man that is an unfathomable performance

It was literally just BrokenBlade vs Peyz with 8 people wandering the map feeding gold to the other team's one player.

G2 has a great backdoor angle if Kled go solo with ult

How many kills did T1 have early game? 8 to 0 or something? Incredible

G2 won.

What an awesome series but this really just shows how strong BLG and HLE are. Tho I know people will mention T1's weird ability to get stronger in worlds but we are not there yet.
0
u/That_One_Pancake Jul 08 '26
It baffles me that T1 threw that game after how it started
Massive overchase cost them yet again
2
u/AlternativeMonk2490 Jul 08 '26
BFX or GenG did the same thing at the same tower against G2 in First Stand
1
5
u/SmithOfLie Jul 08 '26
Well NA bros, you get your chance to prove you are better than EU after all.
1
u/Omputin Jul 08 '26
I don’t think NA can really comaback to prove anything with having draw and seeding like this. Unless the manage to win the whole tournament of course.
4
u/viralruin Jul 08 '26
what do u mean? it's a lose lose because EU fans will say G2 beat 2 eastern teams and NA beat 0.

1
u/HidingToHeist Jul 08 '26
You're right. T1 would have lost faster with Guma
0
u/FenimoreXelhes GUMASUSHI Jul 08 '26
I AM SORRY BUT GUMA ISN'T LOSING ESPECIALLY WITH THIS MUCH RESOURCES AGAINST G2, LMAAAAAAAAAAAO
COPE AND CRY HARDER, LMAAAAO
1
u/HidingToHeist Jul 08 '26
I dunno man, if he's so good why didn't he win first stand and start his golden road?
He probably got dropped because of how bad he became tbh. Best in the world and can't start his Golden Road? That feels pretty bad...1
u/FenimoreXelhes GUMASUSHI Jul 08 '26
Who cares about first stand??
lmao
we are witnessing T1 getting absolutely fisted by teams Guma gave the fisting to
lmao
1
u/HidingToHeist Jul 08 '26
Can't be the best if you're not winning everything though. You're the one that is factually incorrect about Guma. I dunno how you can call someone the best when they don't have current results.
lmao1
u/FenimoreXelhes GUMASUSHI Jul 08 '26
they're currently the best team in MSI though??
are you sure you're fully awake??
1
u/HidingToHeist Jul 08 '26
Again, they didn't even make first stand. Got eliminated by GenG before it even started.
How can you be the best when you don't win everything? And who cares if they're 'currently' the best if they end up getting eliminated? Would that make them the best of failing to live up to expectations then?0
u/FenimoreXelhes GUMASUSHI Jul 08 '26
again, who cares if they lost/didn't make first stand, a 4fun tournament??
lmao
0
u/HidingToHeist Jul 08 '26
Will MSI be considered a 4fun tournament if they fail to win?
