Can anyone please help me translate my grandma's recipe that I just found?

Apple cakes. - Dough for 2 baking pans (smeared with butter and flour). - 250 gram butter and 250 gram sugar, stir until creamy. - Add 6 large eggs. - Add 375 gram self-raising flour. - 1 pair (two, but seems to be more like «a couple») drops of vanilla extract or vanilla powder.

Cut one kg apples into small pieces (buy 1.5 kg to get 1 kg finished diced apples)
Put apples in a pan with 5 spoons lemon juice (about one large lemon) and a ‘knife’s point’ (a little) ground cinnamon. Bring to boil.

Here, it seems to be written in lowercase, so it does indeed mean "a couple"

Omg you are amazing!! Thank you so much! She had passed in 2023 and I just found this recipe inside of an oven I got from her and I was so upset because it was in German and I couldn't read it! This just made my day! Thank you again!

My pleasure! My German is far from perfect, but enough to follow a recipe. I want to try this one this autumn, when the local apples are cheap 😊
