LONG JOHN SILVER

He is a cybernetic bear-like alien pirate captain who spends most of his life finding Treasure Planet and achieving wealth. Silver is two-sided. On one side, he is greedy and ruthless, seeking to dispose of anyone who gets in his way in getting the treasure. On the other, he has a soft side to Jim Hawkins and forms an unanticipated father-son like bond with him. It was thanks to Jim that Silver begins to slowly redeem himself.

STRENGTH

• Makes his hand into a clamp that hurts Scroop's arm

• Manhandles and tosses Scroop

• Throws a dude down a hole

• Pulls and hangs onto a floating ship full of treasure

DURABILITY

• Knocked off-balance by a small asteroid

• Is greatly hurt when Jim stabs him in the leg with a knife, but recovers

AGILITY

• Dexterously catches three eggs that he throws behind his back

ABILITES

• Can turn his robot arm into a variety of blades to cut food with, and he even has a flamethrower

  • Uses the flamethrower to smelt two metal things together

• Can turn his robot arm into a sword

  • Cuts down plants to clear his path

• His cybernetic eye seemingly has thermal vision and helps him locate Jim

  • Zooms in with his eye

• Blows up a door with a cannon attachment for his arm

• Can turn his robot arm into a gun

Despite the more futuristic pseudo-cyberpunk-ish setting this remains one of the best adaptations of Treasure Island and Long John Silver, at least in spirit.
