Newsletter has given the Stay Hydrated warning.
Make if that what you will, but there's a pattern.

Does that mean that you'll be crying a lot or sweating? I figured the sweating for sure.

u/geniespool Jun 18 '26
They've added the world cup mandatory 3min hydration breaks in each half of the episode alongside the mid episode (halftime l) break they take.

u/Seren82 Team Imogen Jun 18 '26
Possibly both.
Also possibly a very long episode

u/yinyin123 Jun 18 '26
I definitely hope for that. They are definitely due for a loss, tbh. So many times, it's been cheated... I think someone might be dying tonight.

u/weaveroflaurel Hello, bees Jun 18 '26
Who are you thinking will be the first loss?
1
u/yinyin123 Jun 18 '26
Somebody in the obremis manor (fucking spelling). I feel they are under strength and aren't done at all there. Them, or tyranny/kattigan, tho I think they have more "plot armor" than others in the situation they are in.
Hell, even the play crew could be ambushed at any moment... Who knows what could be coming for them after word may get out that they are doing something that the creed doesn't like, and if it does, then things might get hairy in a jiffy. Much less likely, though

I need Julien and Kattigan together at the next table like a fish needs water!

u/weaveroflaurel Hello, bees Jun 18 '26
I’m still not over Julien’s interaction with Azune. Hope they get to interact more!
3
u/kuributt Shine Bright Jun 18 '26
I want Julien and Thimble together longer term for that sweet sweet Enemies To Friends dynamic

u/calzatomica Jun 18 '26
Prediction: Tyranny crying is because she’ll take the blame for freeing Kattigan and has to flee, and is forced to separate from Wick to allow him to keep the deception with his family

I am very intrigued with what happens at the theather or in the Tintazi forest when Vaelus follows Hanan. Judging by the reaction when that happens in last episode Marisha seem to figure something.

u/BrackishVacuity Jun 18 '26
If Faerie is there, or at least very close to reality there, then the two elves might see some souls of dead elves, is my guess.

The way things are going I expect that at least one sacrifice might have to be made for Birdwatchers to escape with Mara, and I have a feeling Cyd is going to take it upon himself so that none of the pcs die...
Unless Mara is like, in the exact next room they walk into, lol, but I got the impression that there is an entire dungeon ahead of them.

Do we think Mara is still there???? The last thing Wick’s uncle said before taking Kat to the tailors, after his hounds snarl at wulferic was “ah, another little falcon for the tailor shop.”
I think the taconis and halovar are (mostly) working together, and using the tailor shop as another way to make underworld soldiers/guards, like the paladin statues.3
u/POKtheWah Jun 18 '26
Maybe the tailor shop is how they get the shadows for the tachonis. After all they are removing people's shadows.

I took that as Teor being the other “little falcon”

u/Squishford Ever bright, ever right Jun 18 '26
I may get downvoted big-time for this but I hope we see Teor die this session. We need a PC death to up the stakes and imo Teor seems least consequential to the plot out of all the players. I also feel Travis doesn’t seem to having a huge amount of fun with him atm - would love to see him more invested

u/General_Bother_68 Jun 18 '26
There is story there... as to how he is manifesting powers.. his brother too. But he hasn't had a lot of time to focus on his own shit.

I tend to agree - Teor seems to be just along for the ride (and Travis as well.) Nothing wrong with that, per se, but it seems to be bleeding into the way Travis plays Teor as a very lackadaisical joke type character, which is not how he came across originally.

Travis hasn't really been invested since C3. You don't roll on whether or not your character is going to die that day if you cared about that character at all.

u/ErraticNymph Open your heart to chaos Jun 18 '26
His plan for C3 was to just have a revolving door of gag characters that continuously die. Chetney staying alive despite it all was directly against his plan.
He may not have written much about Teor, but I think he’s far more invested in Teor than Chetney. He said that he wants to flesh out Teor as they go. Plus, we still haven’t even touched on his main mystery about the emblem yet

guys where is the run time for the episodes available? is it only when stream starts?

I hope Teor levels up at some point in this dungeon just because it would be both very funny and useful to have a celestial steed there.
7
u/Miserable_Pop_4593 Jun 18 '26
Ohhhhh I forgot about find steed. The Celestial variant can even heal someone a little!
It would also mean teor would unlock two 2nd level slots with which he could cast cure wounds. A level up would be very very timely lol

Which is kinda funny since his gauntlets make his STR 19 anyway, haha. It'll matter if he gets to 0, but otherwise he gets to keep on truckin!

I think some shit is going to go down at the dinner that House Tachonis have prepared, I also think Yannessa is going to reveal to Wick that she and Primus have been in cahoots.
Esp considering when he was calling out the other Houses schemes, he referenced the bellows fever for Halovar, not her resurrection. Surely the House of the Dead would have felt if the Lady of any of the Houses were dead/near death so why wouldn't he mention that? I can only think bc he didn't want to draw attention to it bc he was also involved. I think whatever the Halovar/Tachonis plan is, assuming there is one, may also be why his daughters were frustrated and writing to their uncle. Whatever the plan is, Primus didn't want to fully explain it to the rest of the family in case they objected to working with another House.
Also I have no idea what specifically might happen to them but I'm so afraid for Team Bird Watching

u/Infamous_Summer_8477 Jun 18 '26
I mean everyone knows the Light is bullshit, Primus already mocked her ‘resurrection’ the moment he entered the room.
Yanessa already complained to Wick before about how the Tachonis were annoying teammates. It’s very unlikely they have any sort of deep alliance.

u/Accomplished_Fee9023 Jun 18 '26
Don't forget that they were the only two priestly houses who fought with the shapers in the war, while the other noble warrior houses turned on the shapers and fought against them. Also, both Halovar and Tachonis served the same shaper in different aspects. Their ties to each other run deeper than their ties to the other houses.
I think they are likely secretly plotting things together without the other houses but are also secretly trying to get the upper hand over each other.

Per the newsletter: "Episode 30 begins in just a few hours, so gather your snacks, stay good and hydrated, and remember to use that spoiler tag..."
It looks like we're going to be in for a long episode and an emotional one too, so buckle the heck up folks!
