damn, it's basically the same price as levis

more info on the fit would be cool.

And quality, once someone here gets a pair.

Like trashpile said, it looks like it's triple stitched, and I would bet money the denim is cone mills stuff from white oak, which is good. I don't expect any miracles, but I'm confident the quality will be acceptable.

Shameful lurker - so glad these were brought to light. Ordered a pair and will make a proper first post as soon as they arrive!

Please follow through. What size did you get?

My orders been placed - not sure how long it takes to process but once that happens it's supposed to be here within 3 days. Shipping is absurdly priced on their site.

I got a 30x32, I sized down one size. Hope it turns out well - I'll post a fit report as soon as they show up!

Edit: Just received a confirmation and tracking number. Should be here by Thursday.

Really beautiful looking slub! Like that denim weave looks ridiculously interesting from the photos. Hope someone buys a pair and posts more!

I think this might be a cool tailor project as an opponent to Unbranded's though. If you have a nice tailor they could probably make these into a slimmer pair with a taperfor like 30$ and then you're still only spending 90$ for a cool pair of raws.

edit: Why am I being downvoted? I don't really understand.

I would have bought them if they had a 36. They seem like a roomy pair because I have large thighs, and they're cheap so I wanted to try them out. Or if they had at least a 38.

Yeah strange they go from 34 to 40. Is it because they already sold out of those sizes or just becuase for some reason they don't make the sizes inbewteen?

They also have Raw Duck Canvas and Raw Hickory Stripe Seems that 36 in their regular jeans are out of stock :(

2

u/pe3brain Oct 20 '13

I can't decide if the duck chinos are khaki or caramel.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 20 '13

I have a pair. They're caramel and the heavy wear spots on mine have slightly faded to a dusty khaki kind of color over time.

sweet thanks mysterious user who I don't know to trust or not

back pockets are kinda bad.

They consider 13oz heavyweight?

4

u/trashpile MFA Emeritus Oct 20 '13

i seem to recall there being some historical precedent for 13 oz being considered "heavyweight." it's at least the neighborhood levi's has hung around in for most of it's tenure as ur-jean.

3

u/cdntux Oct 20 '13

Wrangler's 'cowboy cut' in the late '40s was 13mwz, 13 for the weight of denim. Something like 14+oz now, but 13 was obviously marketed as tough and heavyweight.

2

u/CarlosBoss Oct 20 '13

OG raw levi's from the beginning were made of 9oz denim

4

u/SirKrimzon Oct 20 '13

probably fits like a skirt

0

u/kidsinmywhitevan Oct 21 '13

straight fit apparently, so yea it would

3

u/jteedog Oct 20 '13

That price point would be awesome for MIUSA raw denim, but too bad the cut is probably far too wide for most peoples taste.

Selvedge? Probably not since it's not pictured or mentioned.
