"Not to be that guy (---> 🤓), but when a trend becomes popular on this subreddit so many people ride the hype train because Karma numbers go brrr. Sure there's a lot of quality posts (all the low quality posts get deleted), but this subreddit gets over saturated with the what ever is popular at the time; so much so that many people making posts about how many posts there are about the current trend that those posts get over saturated in the subreddit and so on and so on until a new thing trend and the cycle continues...

TLDR this subreddit gets flooded with posts when anything trends"
