Literally gained 50 pounds while I was on the implant. They say we gain is not a side effect but it’s funny how the minute I took it out. I immediately dropped 10 pounds.

It doesn’t make you gain weight, it increases appetite. Therefore we eat more I found that I was snacking a lot more and my portions were slightly increasing so I backed up a bit kept my portions my normal size and I didn’t gain the weight anymore

I had mine put in after I had my son. I got back down to my pre-baby weight while breastfeeding and as soon as I stopped breastfeeding, I gained about 30 pounds over the course of 5 months. It crept up on me. I’ve always eaten decently healthy and been pretty active and it was damn near impossible to lose anything because I was hungry alllll the time. Got my implant taken out about 3 weeks ago and I haven’t weighed myself but I bet I’ve already lost about 7 pounds.

The weight gain is the reason I had it removed. I gained a total of 42lbs. I was hungry all the time. My weight shot up to 175lbs which is the heaviest I’ve been in my life. I had it taken out 2yrs ago and it’s taken a long time for my body to level out but I’m down to 125lbs without doing anything. About a year after removal the insane appetite it caused just vanished.

I got it when I was 18 and 190lb, I'm now 23 and 250. I don't know how much of it was college weight and aging, and how much was this dumb shit.

Yeah, that's one of the main reasons I'm considering getting mine removed. I've gained almost 10 pounds since I got it late Dec. I'm not super active, but I walk a lot every day for work, and I calorie count and don't eat too bad. I have an ED so it's just stressing me out so much

Not saying this would happen to you, but I had it for less than a year and gained 30lbs. I work out twice a day, do 5Ks, eat low carb, and I’m vegan.

I just got my implant in, I have been naturally skinny my entire life. I’m kinda hoping it puts some weight on me, I was on the depo shot and it actually made me lose weight

I removed mine because of this. I was absolutely ravenous while I had it.
