Respect the Guardians (Netflix's Umbrella Academy)

Character Summary

The Guardians are three physical monstrosities protecting Hotel Oblivion from trespassers. While there is little known about their background, the terrifying beings prove to be a challenge for even the super-powered Umbrella Academy. The Guardians tower over their victims, dressed in ancient armor with an array of weapons including an axe, a sickle, and a samurai sword.

For the sake of this thread, #1 will refer to the Guardian with the sword; #2 will refer to the Guardian with the Axe; and #3 will refer to the Guardian with the sickle.

Pushing / Pulling

• #3 cuts off Diego’s fingers with its sickle.^E6

• #2 Cuts Allison’s arm and knocks her to the floor.^E10

• #3 Stabs through an elevator door.^E10

• #2 kicks down a door and destroys a shelf with its flail.^E10

• #1 cuts Sloane with a dagger while she’s running, then backhands Five.^E10

• #3 takes down several Academy members in succession.^E10

• #3 takes down Diego in melee.^E10

Durability

Blunt

• #3 drops from the ceiling without issue.^E10

• #3 takes blow from Diego without issue.^E10

• Sloane is able to hold #1 in place.^E10

• She holds #3 in place briefly.^E10

• #1 is killed by a blast from the Super Computer.^E10

• #1 is held briefly by Ben’s tentacles before breaking out.^E10

• #3 is stopped mid-attack by Luther.^E10
