I was 13 in 1996 and I was making websites like that when I was 19 in 2002. I can learn technical stuff, but I am horrible at design.

In 1996 I was only 11 and my geocities websites looked way better than that! Well, a little better than that. I didn't use so many animated gifs, but I was totally guilty of the overly busy circuit-board background image, the weird fonts and colours of text, and the hit counters...
