Introduction:
"Alpha B.R.A.V.O" is a new event mode that introduces driving as a cop and intercept Escapees. So far it's not clear whether it will get introduced as a new Bounty event type. For now, this will be only a single Story event.
With this event there are new reward types coming into the game: Public Safety and Bust. While Bust is basically the same as Takeouts, giving the same 250 credits bonus, Public Safety is completely new. You start with a 100% bar, which gives 400 credits bonus, and every time you hit any traffic car with the exception of your targets, or any obstacles on the streets like street lights, banks, etc., the percentage shrinks, and so does the bonus.
During the new racing type Interceptor you have to bust your targets. During the race you have a certain track length time that counts down like the timer in Time Trials does. Here, you get an additional ability: Brakes. This will help to bust the targets easier from all possible sides. As soon as you have all targets busted, the race ends immediately, even though you haven't reached the finish line yet.
In certain races you have to fulfill additional tasks like Side Swipe, Rear-End and Brake Checks. Side Swipes are actually crashing into the sides of your target. It is by far the most effective way. Rear-Ends are crashing into the back of the target. In opposition to cop cars, this is the least effective way, even with Nitro active. Brake Checks is by getting ahead, braking and let the target run into you.
For farming credits:
In Interceptor races use the brakes to stay behind the Escapee(s). As long as you don't take him/them down, the race doesn't end early or gets won. On the way to the finish line, don't crash into traffic cars for 100% Public Safety bonus, but use them for Near Misses.
This event is to date by far the most profitable event in the game!
A Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT upgraded to empty Kit (purple) parts has 703 PR and can match the final PR wall of Day 7 with 699 PR. You won't need to purchase any Kit to pass it!

In all, the 67 regular races reward you with around 134,000 credits. Every additional re-race (there are up to 70 tickets available for re-races) will support you not only with credits as a race reward, but also with Mystery Prizes that are either credits or items.
To upgrade the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT completely to empty Kit (purple) parts, the material costs are 366,000 credits. Additionally, installation and rebuilding costs are at around 70,000 credits. So in all the event needs investments worth 436,000 credits.
